This was the first time my mother played a 3d computer game. All her previous gaming was mostly Solitaire, Spider Solitaire & the likes. So suffice to say this was an experience in frustration.
I was yelling at her every half second & she was confused as hell. She moderately understood the whole Portal mechanic. The thing that confused her was the 3d perception. She just couldn't grasp the concept of depth in games like these & the fact that Chell doesn't have legs was also a downer.
I recorded her playing with my Digital camera. I didn't use Fraps as I don't have any harddrive space to keep the huge files.
I will upload the footage of me yelling & screaming & her being frustrated & confused & fumbling with the controls probably on my alternate account where I upload my vlogs (VERY infrequently) & other non-gaming related stuffs. I'll post a link to that soon. Till then, bye...
