Updates since my last blogpost - Playlist links

Hi there, so as you can see I've pretty much neglected the existence of this blogpage since my last post about the Eronev Mansion Adventure map.

Well I've actually release a ton of videos after that & given below are the convenient playlist access for all of them :)

1. Redectricity - This is a series where I perform crazy & zany experiments using redstone in Minecraft & there's actually quite a few good ideas here. Check it out :)

2. LP on the Minecraft custom map City Conquerer by MrNo1Home. Here's My Playlist

3. Stretched They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard to 800% :D

4. LP-ed 2 short but sweet Minecraft Custom maps
Escape The Room by R3tailer & Eldmorang Alpha by Planetfall666. Here's My Playlist.

Anyways I'll be continuing to play a lot more this December so there will be a lot more videos coming up soon :)

Eronev Mansion Adventure - Custom Map for Minecraft made by Jigarbov

Hello, it's me again. I'm not really particularly enthusiastic about maintaining this blog as I should be but ...

Anyways I just played an AWESOME custom map for Minecraft by Jigarbov & it is EPIC. Play it at your earliest.

It's called Eronev Mansion Adventure & the name is the textbook definition of understatement. Here's the map.

Some features of this map are:
Multiple Endings (These is't one of your lame single ending maps)
Dynamic Story Telling (NPC's
change what they say depending on what you do)
Interactive Scoring System (Gold bars? check. This adventure also counts the number of quests you complete)
Innovative Puzzle Design (Ever tried to complete a musical combination lock on a time limit?)
Big world to explore (Go crazy and walk around! There are borders, so don't worry about "Escaping" the level!)
Upgrade System (Over time you'll be able to do more!)
Good Sized Adventure (Takes 1-3 hours to complete! - Huge Understatement)

If that doesn't get your blood pumping then you sir/ma'm need to go see a doctor.

I'm not even going to attempt to give a review of this map, that'll only demean it's awesomeness. PLAY IT & YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.

Here's a playlist of me playing through this map (I'm still not done yet). Only watch it after playing it yourself as it obviously contains spoilers.

Thank you & goodbye :)

Minecraft: Aether Quest

Hey there, imaginary readers of my blog. How's it going?

I finally decided to jump on the Minecraft Bandwagon with the release of the most anticipated Mod of Minecraft ever, the Aether Collaboration Mod.

Now unlike most LP-ers of this mod who use TooManyItems mod to spawn the items necessary to build the Aether portal, I will be playing fully legitimately. So the first few episodes will be me collecting resources to go to the Nether from where I will get the items required to build the Aether Portal.

Here's the link to the playlist. Enjoy :)

And here's the link to the epic mod :)

Hope you enjoy this series as much as I do.

P.S. This series will include me screaming like a 5 year old girl at the sight of monsters. Hooray :)

Hey there, non-existent viewers of my blog. What's up?

I just started on a new Let's Play series which is a blind playthrough of one of the best (& hardest) Portal mod ever: Portal Pro.

Hope you like my videos (if by chance you do exist).

Best Fan-Film EVER

Q: Why is this the best fan-film ever?
A: Watch it & find out.

WATCH IT NOW

Embedded:

Okay now let's see:

Story: Based on the original ending of Portal, continuing Chell's life after the game. Awesome? I would say so.
Acting: Excellent, the look of fear was spot on. Happy face was SO cute in the back-scratching scene.
Directing: If you've watched it then I don't need to bother writing. Major props to him for finding such a similar looking actress for Chell :)
Editing: Mui excellente. Watch it & find out how good the editing was (note the proper Portal placement in the dustbin scene).
Graphics: Better than Hollywood (that's a fact, not a challenge).
Music: Ambient & evokes feelings of loneliness as per Portal.
Passion: 1000% (not a typo)

Overall: The best Portal fan-film ever (not that there are that many, actually I can't remember any other since this one overshadowed every single one).
Pretty much the best fan-film ever (yes, even better than Escape From City 17).

I am happy to have watched it. One more item to be crossed off my bucket list :)

Maybe? Maybe not? I guess we'll see ;)

But in the meantime I've made this Test video for Minecraft to test a bunch of stuffs mainly,
1. The Night time Brightness correction
2. Video Quality
3. Proper sound mixing of my voice with the game audio & music
4. Viewer Response & Feedback

So here's the video. Enjoy & provide some feedbacks :)

Let's welcome the New Year with LOTS of News :)

Hey everyone, Anistuffs here wishing you all a Happy New Year & a belated greetings for whichever holiday you celebrate.

So let's start off this MASSIVE blog post with a TON of updates.

0. I finished my Portal (First Time) Playthrough with a whopping 7 episodes ready to be uploaded.

1. My uncle & his family came over from Bangalore on the 24th of December for a week. I was very happy to say the least because I got to see my little cousin brother who's about 11 years younger than me.

2. Bhai (my little brother) learnt of the game Portal from yours truly & decided to check it out.
And he LOVED it :)

3. I went on a short 3 day trip (25th to 27th of December) with them to my aunt's native village (where there isn't even any running water). It was AWESOME :)

3.5. At the village we played with a lot of people, mostly with our one year old toddler cousin, Mishu, who's just learning how to walk & can barely talk. She was epic to say the least.

4. We returned from said village & Bhai played more Portals & he (at 9 & a half years old) was better at it then me (naturally). Again, Awesomeness.

5. Me & Bhai & our cousin sister (who's 8 months younger than Bhai) watched How To Train Your Dragon & Despicable Me. It was the best fun I've had watching a movie.

6. The 3 of us played Beyblades on a Carrom-board. It was ..... you know what I'm gonna say ;)

7. Bhai played more Portals & managed to finish upto Level 15 in 4 sittings, all of which are recorded & ready to be edited & uploaded ;)

8. Bhai left in the wee hours of this morning (2 Jan, 2011) at 4:30am to catch the 6 o'clock flight to Bangalore & I am finally able to return to my normal life (which sucks, in case you're curious) of writing blog posts that no one ever reads, making videos that very few people watch & in general being very depressed all the time. Yay :'(

Anyways, my Portal Endgame is being uploaded as of writing & should be public by the end of the week thanks to my Internet connection & I'll be making (& uploading) Bhai's Portal videos soon.

See you later, my non-existent blog-readers :|
