Playing Wintertide with Jigarbov O_O

Yup, you read that right ;)

So here's the lowdown for the non-existent readers of my blog who don't know. Jigarbov is the person whose maps introduced me to LPing Minecraft custom maps. So you can understand my excitement of being asked to play a map with him.

& to add to the awestruckness (yes, I'm making that a word now), HE was the one who acted like a fan (of me) when we started the Skype call.

If that doesn't blow my mind (it did, just FYI), nothing will.

Anyways, we played the awesome adventure map Wintertide, made by Vladimyr.
Both of us recorded the LP so you can see the multiple hijinx we got ourselves into from both our POV :D

Gunpoint (Beta) - Upcoming Indie Stealth Puzzle Game

Hey there, Spy-crickets! How's the mission going?

I heard about this new game some time ago & after seeing the gameplay video by it's creator, I was utterly blown away by the awesomeness.
Recently I found from Tomutwit that the creator Pentadact was asking for Youtubers to feature a beta version of the game. He applied via email & got the beta version which he LPed on his channel (he later removed the videos for no apparent reason whatsoever).

Bur anyways, eager to try out this awesome game, I applied via email as well & wouldn't you know it, Pentadact agreed & sent me a beta version of the game. I was ecstatic to say the least :D

So I did what any self-respecting LPer & gamer would do & did a blind LP of Gunpoint. & it was gloriously awesome - I invented a new meme & punched a bunch of people in the face & jumped around like a crazy superspy.

Seriously crickets, you guys have to see it to believe the epicness so here's a link to the first episode of my Let's Play of this incredible game.

Awesome Crazy Dreams on the early morning of 24th July, 2012

I've catalogued this dream as multiple tweets on my twitter & then realized it'd be better to combine them in one blogpost for ease of reading :)

First dream:
A nightmare where half-human sized Giant Black Moles with Sloth-like claws & orange glowing Jawa-like eyes attack. Wake up scared when I was almost about to be slashed by one.

I tweet a bit, start a video upload & then go back to sleep 'cause I'm still tired.

Second dream:
An evil Cthulhu-esque deity (which bizarrely looks half like the Spaghetti Monster) is summoned to earth during an eclipse by magic-powered evil followers.

Heroes include a crossdressing murse (male nurse), his mom who reminds me of Castle's mom & a magic-wielding heroine who's what I forgot :(
Villains include: Minecraft (don't know why I'm linking this too but oh well) mobs & those evil magical bastards.

A little bit of Story (that I can still remember):
The hero's late father was an astronaut who found the evil cult & their conspiracy but nobody believed him except his family & a friend.
Near the end Jayne Cobb (who's more like a mistrustful redneck than a villain) tries to shoot the father's friend but is electrocuted by our heroman :O
The deity is stopped just as it was about to drag our heroman to its dimension by the magic-heroine. Deity swears revenge & leaves while our heroman is left hanging midair (as he was being pulled up into the sky where the portal was).
P.S. There was a fancy dressed dinner in a fancy hotel & a wheelchair chase in a hospital which included going downstairs O_O  

All in all, it was a crazy awesome dream that felt like an adventure game :D

Portal 2 Blind LP GO :D

I just got my GPU fixed yesterday & in my overxcitement (which in the end made me only sleep for 2.5 hours at night) I forgot to make a blog post for my li'l cricket buddies.

The Company of Myself - Amazingly Romantic Puzzle-Patformer

Heya, crickets!

So I found another game which I assumed to be slightly in the vein of The Company of Myself & to my surprise it turned out to be a simply amazing & very unique puzzle platform game. This is One and One Story, a game by MaTX.

This game tells a sweet romantic story of a boy & a girl, through constant changes in gameplay mechanics & controls & manages to be very 'awww'-inspiring (see what I did there ;).
This is a very short & quite easy of a puzzle game. So you have no excuses to not check it out. Seriously, DO IT. NOW :D

Continuity = Sliding Tile Puzzle + Platformer = Awesome

Heya, crickets :)

So, the game I mentioned as having already been recorded in my last post, is the unbelievably awesome flash game, Continuity, made by Ragtime Games.

This award-winning game combines 2 of the most wildly different game types, Sliding tile puzzles & platform games, into one single package of Pure Awesomeness :D

This is, by far, one of the best flash games I've ever played in my life & I strongly encourage you to play it as well :D

The Company of Myself - Very unique puzzle game

How ya all doing, crickets?

I just wanted to let you fellas know that I recorded another Let's Play of an exceedingly unique puzzle game, The Company of Myself, a game by FreeAsANerd.

This game is about a hermit telling you his life story & revolves around an epic gameplay mechanic that you're unlikely to have seen before. Any more information would be a spoiler to this gem of a game so you better go play it yourself to find out what I mean ;)

No, I'm serious. Go play this game NOW. It's THAT good :)
